The FrysIX is an internet exchange with Frysian roots. Founded in April 2021 by Arend Brouwer of ERITAP in Jubbega, the exchange enables small/medium businesses to connect in the heart of the european internet scene: Amsterdam's Watergraafsmeer at NIKHEF. At the base of our efforts, the philosophy of free exchange of knowledge, practically applied to the Internet by means of a shared top-of-rack switch onto which any company or private individual can connect, if they are physically present in NIKHEF Amsterdam. Our FrysIX Peering service enables you to interconnect with a multitude of networks directly. You will exchange internet traffic using only one connection and cross connect, including all services that are considered standard in the industry: route servers, route collectors, an AS112 presence, private VLANs with other members, and more!
